with Tree Bressen

Saturday, May 23, 2009
9:30am-5:00pm

Avalon Lodge

This highly interactive workshop will help you learn how to facilitate effective meetings, including skills such as:

  • Summarizing the sense of the meeting
  • Stepping in when someone is speaking too long
  • What to do when conflicts arise in the group
  • Alternate formats to supplement general discussion
  • Active listening
  • Honoring dissenting voices while still moving things forward
  • And other situations as raised by participants . . .

Please register in advance so we can plan appropriately. Participants are asked to bring a vegetarian potluck lunch contribution with ingredients labeled, and your own place setting (dishes, silverware, cup). To register, contact Jen Frenzer-Knowlton at kokomojo0664 [at] msn.com or phone 541-731-1428.

This workshop is being offered on a gift economy basis. Please pay an amount that feels good and right and fair to you, that you can afford, and that you can give joyfully.
