This highly interactive workshop will help you learn how to facilitate effective meetings, including skills such as:
- Summarizing the sense of the meeting
- Stepping in when someone is speaking too long
- What to do when conflicts arise in the group
- Alternate formats to supplement general discussion
- Active listening
- Honoring dissenting voices while still moving things forward
- And other situations as raised by participants . . .
Please register in advance so we can plan appropriately.
Participants are asked to bring a vegetarian potluck lunch contribution
with ingredients labeled, and your own place setting (dishes,

Tree Bressen is a group process consultant working with a wide
variety of organizations on how to have meetings that are lively,
productive, and connecting, and how to put their ideals into action.
